The heartfelt moment between Tim Walz and his teenage son, Gus, has triggered a wave of praise and approval, but it has also led to nasty bullying attacks on the internet.

But the display of affection provoked a series of sarcastic and cruel comments from online trolls, primarily MAGA supporters of former president Donald Trump, who is Democratic National Convention running against Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris and Walz in November.
